Liam J. Boyle joined PFGBEST.com in 1998. Prior to assuming the role of CIO, Mr. Boyle was vice president of Information Technology. He helped shape the direction of the company’s technology strategies and development of online and back office operations. As the head of the technology group, Mr. Boyle is responsible for software development, R&D and project management. With a focus on customer-driven innovations, his technology group is continuously improving its products and evolving into new areas of growth.
Under Mr. Boyle’s direction, PFGBEST.com released the BEST Direct™
online trading system. Applying the simple principals of fast, easy and
reliable, the BEST Direct system has become a widely used, well accepted
and mature online futures trading platform. With its user-friendly graphical
user interface (GUI), real-time quotes, pre-trade risk assessment capabilities

Prior to joining PFG, Mr. Boyle founded a software firm, specializing in online trading, automated trading systems and back office functionality. He held the position of systems manager for Knight-Ridder Financial from 1988-1995.
