PFGBEST.com´s Leadership
Susan O’Meara Chief Compliance Officer
Susan O’Meara is chief compliance officer for PFGBEST.com. A 20-year veteran of the investment and trading industry, she joined PFGBEST.com in 1997. From the time Susan joined the company, PFG’s network of offices and affiliates has grown to include more than 80 global locations.
Heading up the compliance team, she is responsible for the overall compliance of PFGBEST.com, its branches and introducing brokers. Susan was also instrumental in the development of PFGBEST.com online account documents, which streamlined the account opening process by reducing the time it takes to complete and submit the account documents to less than five minutes. With her extensive regulatory knowledge, she continues to lead PFGBEST.com to impeccable annual reviews from the self regulatory body of the futures industry, the National Futures Association (NFA).
Prior to joining PFGBEST.com, Susan worked at the NFA in Chicago as senior compliance auditor. During her tenure at the NFA, Susan was pivotal in developing computerized audits. She began her career in the futures industry as a staff auditor with the NFA. In this early role, Susan audited member firms, reviewed financial statements and investigated compliance issues.
Susan received her Bachelor of Arts from St. Xavier University in Chicago and remains an active member of the Futures Industry Association. She spends her off time traveling the globe with her three young daughters and devoted husband.
